The Dogz

Jim Shaw, the beloved L.A. fine artist, wrote and produced this unique 45 single, featuring It's Easter in My Brain and Willy Nilly. (He also designed the cover art.)
The project is notable because none of the musicians were, in fact, musicians. We were visual artists and/or film industry professionals. I sang on the Willy Nilly cut - you can pick out my voice because I offset the others by being in key. I'm not being catty here - it was the effect that Jim desired, like the sound of those Eskimo women who sing into each others' throat.
