Artist's conception - video test with stand-in puppets - final product
This was the first of several projects I did for Steve Johnson's XFX company. I was head puppeteer for the shoot, and, because I also designed the control system for the NTI puppets, we reused my "movement designer" credit from The Blob. I don't know if anyone other than myself has ever been given that title.
I also acted as lead puppeteer for two shots of a puppet of Ed Harris for DreamQuest Images.
And what was it like working with Jim "King of the World" Cameron? I could tell you... but it's like Viet Nam, man. Unless you were there yourself, you just wouldn't understand.
